Hey Sahuaro High School Cougars from the Graduating Class of 1978!
You've always been great. See how much better you and your classmates have become by
joining us at the Sahuaro High School Class of 1978 40 year reunion!
Please mark your calendars for June 8th and 9th, 2018 for the event that will be held at the
beautiful Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, 7000 N. Resort Drive, Tucson, AZ. 85750. Your
reunion committee is working very hard to make this a fun and relaxing reunion and we'd
like to see as many of you as possible!
We are planning the entire weekend as a keep it casual event. We will kick things off on
Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. with a Hawaiian/Jimmy Buffett themed casual mixer.
The Saturday night dinner and dance will start at 6:00 p.m. with happy hour that will be
followed at 7:00 with a three course dinner of either a beef or chicken, prepared especially
for our group. As it will be early summer in Tucson, cool, casual attire is acceptable.
Please be comfortable! We encourage you to where Blue and Red, our school colors for this
event. There will be wonderful food and beverages, lots of time for reminiscing, getting
reacquainted, dancing and some entertainment.
Costs: The Friday night mixer is $35.00, the Saturday night dinner and dance is $98.00 and
to attend both events the price will be $133.00. This is a bargain for an event at this
beautiful resort.

magical years or any other pictures you would like to share with your classmates, and
register and pay for the event using MasterCard or Visa. If you cannot attend the event,
and we truly hope that you can, please feel free to create a Classmate Profile on this website
so your contact information will be up to date. Also, please check the website for updates
and information as the reunion date grows closer and to get caught up with your
classmates.
Please sign up for this wonderful weekend as soon as possible. The committee and the
resort can improve the event planning as the number of classmates who plan on attending
increases. The more the merrier.
We have reserved a small block of rooms for the event that have an exceptional rate. If you
plan on staying at the resort, we encourage you to book your rooms as soon as possible.
There are several other events occurring at the resort that week and rooms may get scarce
as we get closer to the big weekend. If our block of rooms gets reserved, we may be able to
add to our block so the great rate can be available for more classmates. Please reserve
early!
As a common courtesy to all of your classmates, if you plan on attending either or both
nights of this event, please register and pay for your spot. The very reasonable cost is
available to your classmates based on the assumption that all in attendance will be paying
customers. No “party crashers” please.

HOTEL INFORMATION
There is a special single/double room rate of $99.00 (plus tax and resort fee) offered to our
class reunion. Call 800-234- 5117 to reserve your place in our room block. What does
reserving early do? It allows us to increase the block before the resort sells out. If we book
more than 20 rooms, alumni will have the resort fee reduced from $29 to $10.
