Comments:

I haven't lived in Tulsa, or even Oklahoma, since graduation.

I went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX on an engineering scholarship and got a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering (with a Spanish minor, of course - those AP/IB tests started me in junior-level classes!) in 1994. It's ironic... I didn't excel in math at BTW (ask Mrs. Fisher!) but mine was always a problem of study habits and I kicked it into gear in college.

I worked for Anadarko Petroleum Corp. in Midland, TX until I landed a consulting gig with S.A. Holditch and Associates in College Station, TX where I got to use and improve my Spanish skills on several of their international projects in/around Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela. I worked on an MS in Petr. Eng. there but I moved to Houston (1999) and got married (2000) before finishing.

I lived in Houston for 5 yrs while my wife got her doctor of pharmacy degree, then we moved to Denver for her residency and here we've stayed since 2003.

Right now I'm working for Venoco, Inc. here in Denver.

School Story:

Those of you who were in Mrs. Stephens' Spanish classes probably remember me better by the name Diego (I think I picked it more or less in honor of Diego Maradona).
