After HS, I went to NSU in Tahlequah. I graduated in 1995 with a degree in Elementary Ed. I am in my 12th year teaching and am currently the Academic Coach at my school. I work with students as well as with teachers. In May 2009 I graduated once again from NSU in BA with a Masters in School Administration. I hope to become a principal in the near future.

I met my husband in 1995 although we did not start dating until 1998. We were married in 2000 (2 weeks before the 10 year reunion). In November of 2003 I became a mom. Will there be more? Maybe after I finish school.

Funny story...I went out with some teacher friends Friday night. We were trying to decide where to go and someone mentioned the Elephant Run. One of the girls (just graduated...new teacher) said "no way, that's a 30 to 50 club". I thought EEK!!! that's me!!!!

HHHMMM...Mrs. Benson's 4th hour. Somehow I had the pleasure of that 3 years in a row. I have to say, as crazy as it may sound, I hated history before her class and still dont enjoy it much now. However, she made it much more bearable and I actually learned quite a bit.
