How sad I am to hear of this loss. I was really looking forward to seeing Joe at the reunion. He was such a good and loyal friend. I enjoyed his friendship and his great sense of humor. He was a joy to be around. I have thought of him often and sure I will continue to do so. Rest in peace Joe Monroe.
Joe was one of my very first friends when we moved from Texas to Oklahoma in the middle of 2nd grade. Talk about a rough time! But Joe befriended me almost immediately. I always appreciated his smile and laughter. He truly was a good friend...throughout all of our school years. We'll all miss you Joe!
