05/12/09 11:54 AM #31     Jason Barker Hey just an FYI: One of my best friends back in fresh/soph year was Chris Woodfin. He was killed in a crash back on Friday, April 3, 1987 after attending a party. I was actually supposed to go with him to the party, but at the last minute I said no...I just had a really weird feeling. He would have graduated with us in '89. I don't ever recall seeing a memorial page dedicated to him, but think it would be a nice gesture to create a profile link on here. His life and death still remind me about the results of drinking and driving (he was a passenger).

Currently we are set to play at Emerald Falls in BA on July 11th and the flat cost will be in the range of $45. Please let myself or Brian Bailey know so that we can make arrangements. I am looking forward to seeing all of you. I have taken the liberty of providing Live entertainment for the night. The name of our band is Southern Discomfort. we will be playing plenty of 80's rock. Band starts after dinner @ 9 pm. I have direct contact with Mr. Wright of the print shop. he is 85 years old and would love to attend one or both of the parties. i would hate for him to pay for a plate so i am putting the first 20 bucks down to help pay for his plate either fri or sat. Camile please get with me on that i have not kept up with the prices and such since i've been traveling a lot lately. 07/08/09 06:33 PM #40     James Farris Getting closer girls go get your hair colored and get dolled up lol guys not many of us have a 6 pack any more unless we open the fridge. please invite as many of us as possible I am going through an out of pocket exspense to provide Live music for the Sat night party. All i ask is that people drink responsibly and as we have heard all of our lives please dont think about drinking and driving home. Bring a DD or we will find you one. I am bringing 5 professional musicians that did not attend ROGERS to perform for you Sat. the 18th. if there is any way that you could comp my people even with a beer or a hand shake it would help. There is no charge to any of you for the Band. that is on me. Camile , Robert and a few others have gone to great lengths to help put this thing together. They will all be recognized on the 18th. in addition I have been informed that Tammy Ridgeway aka Suell is having a BD the night of the 18th. so she will be recognized. Once again the ropers are making things happen! There are now 180 members to the site and we are expecting about 100 people to attend each event! I also would like to remind everyone to stay safe and please if you are going to consume alcohol let someone else drive! Don't know if you received enough donations (we put some in on Fri). We need to keep this site going so keep us posted if you didn't have enough money to keep it. It was amazing to see everyone and had such a great time with you. Hope everyone will keep in touch in the future and not let 10yrs go by without seeing you all (that way we can all recognize everyone).

07/19/09 01:44 PM #47     Buddy Brown Just to let everyone know we did make enough money to maintain this site. So, it will continue to run and be a source for the Class of 89 to stay in touch. I will ask that please be on the look out for other classmates and refer them to this site. If we have missed anyone and they are not listed please let us know so we can update our information. I'm hoping for an even bigger turn out in 5 years. I would like to thank Camille for getting the ball rolling on this 20 year reunion. Andrea for taking the ball and running with it. Vicki and Annette for all the decorations. Cheryl for providing all the help that she did. Robyn for the great food. James for the live entertainment. And everyone else that helped make this a great event. Rest up everyone 5 years will go by fast and the next reunion will be even better!
