She was murdered at a Shell gas station in Houston Texas in 1991. She had been out with friends celebrating her 21st birthday when she was the victim of an apparent carjacking gone wrong. The suspect was a 20-30 yr. old black male who fled scene without the intended carjack vehicle - a black mercedes. There was an eye witness.
I know this very well, It hit's home for me because Sherry is my sister. The police have never really told us much,they just stopped looking for the S.O.B. if any body know any thing about that night PLEASE tell someone that can help find the man that did this to my sister. They say it was all over a car I don't think that was it at all,that night just does not add up.
I remember when I first met Sherry, it was at Bell Middle School and she was really nervous about starting a new school where she didn't know anyone. She seemed to fit right in with everyone and it wasn't long until she was included in all the after school functions. She always had a smile on her face and was very friendly. I think of her often.
