Raymond Dale Barnett, Sr. age 62 of Republic passed away June 27, 2015. He was born Aril 14, 1953 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma the son of Fredrick and Carolyn Barnett. On July 24, 1998 he and Gina Polzin were united in marriage and together they raised two sons.

Ray loved to dress up like Santa Clause and enjoyed Christmas all year long. He loved playing video games with his son R.D. He never met a stranger in the world. Ray was friendly to everyone and enjoyed conversation. He was a person that you never forgot after meeting.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Raymond “R.D.” Dale Barnett, Jr.

Ray is survived by his wife Gina Barnett of the home; a son Steven Barnett and wife Chelsea of Kirbyville; a daughter in law April Barnett of Strafford; three grandchildren, Dakota Trogdon, Christopher and Arabella Barnett; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at HOPE of Sparta Church, Sparta, Missouri, with Pastor Michael Hamilton officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Holden Cremation and Funeral Service, Sparta.
