Rebecca passed on January 3, 2020 in Northport, Alabama from cancer. Rebecca Hunt Meggs, age 68, of Northport, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at DCH Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Pastor John Vaughan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy Hunt and Betty Hunt; sister, Elizabeth Basile. Survivors include her husband, Russell Meggs; daughter, Mary Beth Davis (Todd); sons, Chris Latham and Spence Latham, stepdaughters, Mary Beth Johnson (Joel) and Amanda Patton (Nick); and eleven grandchildren.
