Information provided by Gary Davis. Jimmy lived in Greenville, South Carolina at the time of his death (October 26,2016) caused by illness. He was sruvived by his wife Dianne, daughters: Allison, Brooke, and Emily.

I didn't know James well in high school, but used to run into him frequently my freshman year at U of A. He was a good guy, very sweet and kind. I thought about James today when I received an In Memory alert for someone else. I wanted to thank him for adding comments on In Memory for people who didn't have any. What a wonderful idea! I never dreamed I would be too late, posting that here. I also wanted him to know how beautiful I thought his daughters were in the picture he used to have on his profile.
