 CLANTON - Terry Zeanah, age 65, died July 7, 2016, at home at Lay Lake, Clanton Ala. She was born and raised in Tuscaloosa and attended Tuscaloosa High School and the University of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin Weatherford Zeanah and Dorothy Ingram Zeanah, both formerly of Tuscaloosa. She is survived by her dedicated and loving husband, Jimmie L. Pack; sister, Kay Zeanah; nephews Zachary Schroff and Weatherford Schroff; other relatives including aunts, Khaki Carr, Lucille Wilson, Helen Zeanah and Carolyn Zeanah; and several cousins.Terry grew up among a wide and caring circle of friends in Tuscaloosa. She graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a Master's degree in mathematics.Terry taught math for many years at Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham. She was a skillful, dedicated, and student-oriented teacher. Prior to her career at JSCC, Terry lived and studied in Huntsville and Evergreen, Colorado, where she worked as a therapist for women in transition.Terry had a lifelong passion for learning and helping people. She also worked tirelessly to rescue animals in harm's way. She had many creative pursuits. She was a talented musician and an avid gardener.
