TUSCALOOSA | Timothy Scott Browning, age 55, of Tuscaloosa, died March 7, 2008, at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. Services will be 12 noon Tuesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, James Scott Browning, his mother, Lorene May Browning, and his best friend, Mike Lard. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Browning; his daughter, Caitlin Michelle Browning; his sister, Cynthia Browning; his aunt, Mary Virginia Dyer; his uncle, Ken Nettles (Margaret); his nieces, Dana Landis (Scott), Haley Webb, Meredith Landis, and Lizzie Jackson; and his nephews, Chase Webb and Nicholas Landis. Tim was a loving husband, father, and brother. Before his sickness, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. In the last few years, his passion was watching his “Pookie” play sports. Tim dedicated his life to helping others. He was loved and appreciated by all who knew him. Pallbearers will be Josh Lard, Dylan Lard, Larry Smith, David Byrd, Mark Jackson, and David Webb. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Berry, Dr. Sudduth, Bill Yourick, Bobbie Rumsey, Kylie McMurray, West Alabama Orthopedic and Spine Center, DCH Operating Room staff, Northport Medical Center Operating Room and Emergency Department, and DaVita Dialysis Center of Northport.
