Just saw that Bobby Hemphill had passed. He was a neighborhood friend to me well before High School. I hope he passed well. He was always "pushing the envelope" when we were kids. Lost touch when they moved away from Skyland Park. We had an idea, when we were real young, to flatten lead we dug out of an old shooting range near our homes and sell it for money! One day Bobby went over by himself and not only found slugs but also a live 22 round which he proceeded to hit with the hammer--shot himself thru the leg!! Thankfully it was not life threatening--and immediately stopped our Lead Enterprise!! We played hard on the hills of Skyland Park!! Rest in Peace, Bobby.
