Patricia Hughes Steward, age 55, of Cottondale, died Dec. 21, 2007, at home. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Memory Hill Gardens with Bro. Thaxton Richardson offi ciating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Tucker Hughes; her mother, Jeanette Frazier; her daughter, Dana Sha Ray; her son, Michael Darren Steward; and her husband, David Wilson Steward. Survivors include three brothers, Thomas David Hughes (Ann) of Cottondale, Glenn Dale Hughes (Sandy) of Northport, and Danny Robert Hughes of Cottondale; three nieces, Teresa Richardson (Thaxton) of Northport, Tasha Thacker (James) of Northport, and Tammy Myrick (Michael) of Cottondale; her granddaughter, Amber Ray of Linden; four great nieces and three great nephews. She was a 1970 graduate of Tuscaloosa Senior High School. Pallbearers will be JR. Brown, Michael Myrick, James Thacker, Thaxton Richardson, Ricky Reese, and Bobby Miller. Patricia, we will miss you but will keep you in our hearts always.
