MOUNDVILLE – Andrew David Jones, Jr., age 66, of Moundville, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018.
Mr. Jones is survived by his daughters, Lindsey Jones Coster, Judy Lauren Jones and Kati Elizabeth Jones, all of Moundville; son, Matthew Alexander Collier (Christina) of Hoover; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Bretton and Lorelai Coster, Carson Jones, Amanda, Grant and Elaine Collier; mother of his children, Arlene Stokes; his beloved pets, Diesel and Dollie Dae; and special friends, Greg Knight, Jim Davis and Tom Stubbs.

Mr. Jones graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1976 with a Bachelor Degree where he was a member of the Jacksonville State Marching Southerners, Pi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Music Fraternity, Symphonic Band, Brass Choir and the
Accapella Choir. 
Mr. Jones was also a member of Tuscaloosa First United Methodist Church Choir. He worked 
for many years at BF Goodrich before working for many years with Bama Concrete.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. from Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Chaplain Lanier Nail will officiate the services.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Davis, Danny Rushing, John Stokes, Stacy Stokes, Adam Montgomery and Hunter Falls.
Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, is in charge of arrangements.
