COKER – Carol "Dyan" McKleroy, age 66, of Coker, Ala., died April 9, 2018, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home with Damon Rose officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O.B. and Dorris McElroy; brother, Randy McElroy; and grandparents, Albert and Annie McKleroy and Verona and Zina Vaughan.
Survivors include her son, Steven McKleroy and her brother, John McElroy.
Dyan was Alabama's #1 fan! She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, co-worker and friend. Dyan never met a stranger. She fought a long, courageous battle against cancer, but always told others – especially her doctors- "God knows when." Now she is home and completely healed. No more pain and no more tears.
