Karen Delores McMillan
NORTHPORT | Karen Delores McMillan, age 51, of 15285 Harbor Drive, died October 30, 2003, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Monday, November 3, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Memory Chapel. Rev. Ed Steelman officiating. Burial will follow in Gordo City Cemetery. Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jack D. McMillan and her grandmothers, Merida W. Springer and Lucille Watts.
Survivors include sister, Natalie Wallace (Dale), brother, James (Jimbo) McMillan, parents, Barbara and Murphy Jones, grandparents, Jack and Pellie Springer, niece, Jennifer Soundararajan (Ram), great niece, Brandy, one step-brother, Gary Jones (Pam) and four step-sisters, Brenda Hall (Jim), Gail Baird (Steve), Toni Jones, and Melissa Jones.
She was a 1970 graduate of Tuscaloosa High School and attended Shelton State. She was employed by South Trust Bank in the Commercial loan Dept. and worked part time at the Northport Wal-Mart. She was an avid Alabama gymnastics and football fan.
Pallbearers will be Drew Newman, Ramjer Soundararajan, Dale Wallace, Tommy McGee, Steve Baird, John Lollar.
Honorary pallbearers are Employees of SouthTrust Bank, Employees of Wal-Mart - Northport, Dr. Hinton, Dr. Young, Sherry Freiley, Lou McGee, Toby and Earline Doss, and H. R. Boyd.
