David was a part of mixed chorus at THS with his beautiful deep bass voice and was the bass for Barber Shop Quartet with Wheeler Stewart (baritone), Walter Fisher (second tenor) and myself (first tenor). Our quartet was special. He was quite talented, very friendly, and was an all-round good person.

Rest in peace, my friend.

David contributed a great deal both musically, and as a leader, to the THS Mixed Chorus of 1970.  His beautiful bass voice was a mainstay of Wintergreen Singers.  He was one of the reasons that our 1970 choral group was so special.  Many of us went on to be a part of the "Singing Ambassadors" who toured Europe and shared our talents in the summer of 1970.  Rest in Peace!
