TUSCALOOSA - Argie Dixon (Dickie) Tidmore, age 66, of Tuscaloosa, died May 19, 2018, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Pastor James Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hale County with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Dickie was preceded in death by his parents, A.D. and Dot Tidmore. 
He is survived by special aunt and uncle, Morris and Bobbie Smithson, and a number of aunts and cousins.
He was a devoted and loving son. In his youth, he liked to hunt and fish with his father. After graduating from Tuscaloosa High School, Dickie worked at Coral Industries for more than 35 years before retiring. He will be greatly missed, but he is now at peace and resting with his mother and daddy in the arms of his savior.
Pallbearers will be David Tidmore, Dixon Tidmore, Nevin Tidmore, Tim Smith, Wayne Crawford, and Danny McSpadden. 
Honorary pallbearers are neighbors of Walnut Drive, staff and friends at Regency Retirement Village, staff at Hospice of West Alabama, fellow employees at Coral Industries, Sue McSpadden, and Judy Montz.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
