Lamar was always so nice to me and had a great sense of humor. I remember when he decided to enter into a contest in which he needed an escort. I was thrilled that he thought to ask me, but I had to decline due to my "delicate position." I do know that Lamar had gotten ill and that he suffered and passed away somewhere around 1984-1986. But, he is with God now where there's no more suffering. May God bless.
