Hey there Rick!
I was sweeping out my emails and saw your birthday note. Thank you! This email address was attacked then cleaned up. I used another and am cleaning up so to speak. I, too, hope you had a fun birthday. Let the truth be known, my birthday celebrations are mild at best! I still have the 2 Havanese and are a joy. My work remains the same especially Honor Flight South Florida[.org]. We have flown 150 veterans and 150 guardians to Washington DC in 2 flights and will have 2 more in Sept and October and that will be it until April 2020. Check out our Facebook site when you get a chance. In Washington, I ran into 2 Ohio Chapters of Honor Flight from Columbus and Cleveland. Sen Bob Dole and Rick Perry were there to greet the WW2, Korean and Vietnam veterans. Thousands of people at the WW2 Memorial yet these 2 guys were the only politicians there. Take care and God bless. John B
I've heard of that trail. YouTube showed the cops giving out tickets for crossing the center dbl yellow line! Free donuts if you pay right away! Btw, happy Birthday to you too. I think Florida promotes active and healthy seniors...so I've heard :-) . Do we qualify for elder care now? At least we don't need fake IDs anymore! All the best. J

Happy Birthday buddy. Hope you have a super day. Interesting weather up there, one day up, another down. Awesome! Washington DC was great with the WW2 vets. I leave Thurs for Front Sight for 5 days. Automatics this time! Btw, I came out and found a puddle of oil underneath my m/c. I thought it could be a crack somewhere but turned out my main shock was worn. Minor repair considering! Should have the beast back next week sometime. Sure would like to ride in Tenn someday. It's the wide open spaces compared to S.Florida. My sugar's a bit high but still lots of vits on this end. Many blessings to you and your family and have many more glorious "age celebrations"!

There will be many more reunions for us brother. We'll pray for a speedy and full recovery. Never doubt your resolve! You have all that it takes and more.

We missed you at the reunion brother! A few asked about you but I didn't have a clue. We will try to figure out plan B which sometimes is better than plan A!! Stay well and God bless you and your family.

What a great effort by all! It was a great reunion and very much appreciated. Many new memories and connections. I know I would have enjoyed more time to visit more mates but there's never enough time, right? Thank you very much for everything! If you missed this reunion, there's always the 70th!!!!

Happy birthday brother. Hope you had a great one and may you be blessed to have many more! I'm looking forward to the reunion and catching up. The dogs are fine. The wife still has some serious back issues we are dealing with. Stay safe and God bless.

That sure was a quick 2 months! I sure hope you had a great birthday. It seems the older we get, the more there is to do! I'm convinced that staying happy, being busy and maintaining our spiritual fulfillment are the secrets to a long life. Sometimes, of course, it is easier said than done. We are part of our society and generation that learned how to donate, give and help others ALL THE TIME. I have learned by helping others, our issues not only seem insignificant but it is also so fulfilling for all. There are times that I remind myself and those around me to help others in need. It is also amazing the responses I get in return. So many of our classmates are of this fabric because that's the way we were brought up. It is especially heartwarming when we receive that "Thank You". Unfortunately in later generations, it wasn't as popular as the "me" mentality so prevalent today. One of our true givers was Carol and I know that our class feels the loss as I do. She did so much for us. I didn't know her well but I always made sure she knew I was appreciative.
Take care buddy and know that we will share a piece of that cake somewhere "down the road"!
