Niki and I shared many childhood memories as our mothers were sisters. Actually through Niki I was introduced to Carolyn Hall (now Burbick) and Susan Burnside (now Hager) as they all grew up on Jervis Road. I always had fun when I went over to visit.
Niki moved to California for about 10 years in the 1980's where she met the love of her life and married him. She came back to Ohio but settled in close to the Kentucky border and lived on a horse ranch. Her husband became ill and she took care of him until his death. With her husband's illness and her love of the horse ranch, I am sorry to say, we rarely saw her after that.
Niki developed a brain tumor about 2005 and died in 2006 without many of us getting the chance to reconnect with her. I will always feel bad that I didn't get to talk to her again.
She leaves a daughter Colette and son John who live in the Ohio/Kentucky area and her other son Tony and his wife Kim who still live on Jervis Road.
