I haven't seen Alan in 55 years, since we moved out of UA. But I remember him quite well; he was easygoing, friendly, and gracious to everyone, including to me  when I was the new kid in school. So sorry to hear of his untimely passing; condolences to family and friends.

I  remember Alan as being a really nice guy with a funny sense of humor. In 7th grade, we had Mrs. McKinney for Core..Alan and I did somthing(I don't remember as to what we had done)that landed us in the lower cuppard where are water glasses were. Al had a deck of cards(leave it to Alan) and we played poker while the class continued on.
