I was saddened to hear this week, 3/10/14, that Stan passed away in 1989. I tried for many years to find Stan and now I know why I could not. We had a lot of good times in high school, but one of my best memories came later. Stan had moved to Detroit and had been in contact with our good friend Ramesh Gursehaney (UAHS 66?) who had moved to Monteal. He suggested I meet him and go to Montreal. I took the train to Detroit, met Stan, and we took the bus to Montreal for the World's Fair, EXPO 67. For me it was like my going away party. A few weeks later I was in basic training and headed for Vietnam. I think I last saw Stan at the UAHS 10 year reunion andI have never seen either of them since, but I often remember that trip. I do maintain contact with Ramesh on facebook. We had a great time. Thanks Stan.
