Dr. Jim Langeveld's family is the sponsor of a fund to help adult bone marrow transplant patients and families who have urgent financial needs as a result of treatment. This fund was established as a lasting memorial to "Dr. Jim," who died at the age of 30 after a brave battle with lymphoma. A family medicine physician at Beaumont Hospital, Dr. Jim Langeveld left his wife Debbie and young son Tyler and a large extended family behind.
