45th Class Reunion

We hope you will join us for homecoming weekend in Van Wert as we celebrate 45 years since we left the halls of Van Wert High School! Here's the line-up for our weekend:

• Friday Fun at The Edition (10/11) - this will be a casual gathering, beginning at 5:00 pm. Everyone will be "on their own" for food and beverages.
• Homecoming Football Game (10/11) - those interested can take a stroll down memory lane as they walk or drive to Eggerss Stadium to watch the Cougars. The game starts at 7:00 pm, and you'll buy your tickets at the gate. We have a block of seats reserved for our group.
• Saturday Class Reunion (10/12) - beginning at 7:00 pm at our local Elks club, we'll celebrate together with music, finger foods, and a cash bar. Cost is $10 per person, and you will each receive two complimentary drink tickets when you check in.

Legacy Donations

Two funds are now available to allow VWHS alumni to pay it forward. Whether you are able to join us for the reunion or not, we hope you will consider contributing to one or both of these funds.

• Eggerss Stadium Maintenance Fund - Coordinated and managed by the Van Wert Cougar Booster Club, this fund will be used for future maintenance needs of the stadium.
• Cougar Pride Athletic Boosters Endowment Fund - Developed to generate income to be used to support athletes at VWHS, this fund is managed by the Van Wert County Foundation and uses only the interest generated by the fund.

Lodging - We have set aside a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn in Van Wert under "Class of 1979." Rates are $107 per night for a king room, and $112 per night for a room with two queen beds.
