Shannon was living in Medway, OH when he passed away August 11, 2008.  He retired from Delphi in 1998 with 32 years of service.  Shannon was a longtime member of Medway Baptist Church where he was Sunday School Director.  He was survived by his wife, Linda, two daughters, three grandchildren, a sister and a brother.  He was Interred at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
