Daniel L. Oberer, age 75 of Beavercreek, OH passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Soin Medical Center.  He was born December 30, 1945 in Dayton to Russell and Elizabeth (Mahan) Oberer.  He married Betsy Jung Graham on October 20, 2001 in Springfield, Ohio

Daniel retired from Wright Patterson AFB after 38 years, where  he worked as an Aerospace Engineer.  He graduated from Vandalia-Butler High School and attended and graduated from the University of Cincinnati.  Daniel was a prominent member of Bethel Baptist, where he was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher.  He was an avid tennis player, would teach tennis on the base and played in a competitive tennis league.  Daniel was a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes football fan.  He loved his best friend and dog, Cody, and would enjoy sitting outside with her.  Daniel loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Daniel is survived by his wife Betsy; a son, Eric (Wendy) Oberer; step children, Mark (Kelly)Graham and Melonie (Derek) Rohrer; grandson, Zachary Oberer; step grandchildren, Nathan and Nick Graham, Payton, Tabitha and Abby Rohrer; brothers, Nichols (Sheila) Oberer, William (Maureen) Oberer, Terrence (Mary) Oberer; and other family and friends.  He is preceded in deathth by his parents; his first wife, Debra Fetzer Oberer.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer  Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel.  Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
