If your memory needs refreshing (and whose doesn't at this age), see the Stonequarry tab, Mrs. Van Skoyk's class, Row 3, 4th from the left for a picture of Tom.  He was a fun guy with a great sense of humor.

i remember tom as a fun guy who had a wry sense of humor.  paul ohmart, "mcelroy" and i used to run around a lot after school in the eighth grade, and in the summer after that year.  we would go to the audubon society center, which his dad ran, and mess around there, and just generally look for ways to have fun and make friendly jibes at each.  we all three loved to listen to records at his house by the audubon center.  i remember "the battle of new orleans" by johnny horton was one of his favorites, and if i'm not mistaken he liked roy orbison, too.  paul, tom and i used to love to watch a silly cartoon program, too....it had a couple of russian spies on it, boris and natasha, i believe.  and the same show had a skit about the invention of things told by an intellectual dog who had as his very best friend, a boy.  this half hour show was always the highlight of the afternoon, and gave us much fodder for highly intellectual discussions, as you can imagine.  we also discussed the relative hilarity of various "looney tunes" cartoons.  the three of us had a nice friendship.

i remember the afternoon his father came home from work next door and told us he was being transferred to the florida everglades to work.  paul, mac and i were sad.  shortly thereafter their family moved.  mac was a fun guy.
