James "Jim" Hite

Taken from the Dayton Daily News obituary published August 28, 2011.

 

Jim passed away August 19, 2011, at the age of 65 in Tampa, Florida as the result of a sudden stroke.  "His infectious smile, ability to find humor in every situation, candidness and passion for life will always be remembered."    Jim was survived by his wife, Susan, a son James M. Jr., his brother, Raymond W., Jr. and his sister, Barbara.   He was a long-time owner and operator of J. Hite Exterminating Company.  "Jim developed lasting friendships with a multitude of customers and associates.  His varied interests included fishing, music, and politics.  He was an avid supporter of YMCA projects and Karting Association Events."

Linda Bourne (Hellard)

Jim is another Stonequarry kid.  He is in Mrs. Van Skoyk's sixth grade class.  Jim and his brother Ray, attended Vandalia-Butler Schools only briefly.
