He was born Sept. 6, 1945, in Cookville, Tenn., to Crocket and Bessie Lou Jackson.

          Mr. Jackson was on the board of directors for the Heritage Zoo.  He and his father were the first EMTs to operate in Dayton, Ohio, and its outlying areas.  He was a firm believer in organ donation and has donated his body for the use of anatomical study at the University of Arizona.

          Survivors include his wife, Ellen, of Prescott Valley; children, Thomas Jackson and Laura Jackson, both of Columbus, Ohio; and sister, Janice Rightmyer of Dayton, Ohio.

          In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Jackson’s name to the the Heritage Zoo, 1403 Heritage Park Road, Prescott, AZ 86301, or you may sign up as an organ donor.
