Class of 1970!  

Since our reunion last fall, the committee has been working diligently to finalize our reunion expenditures.  We think that you will be very surprised and happy to see what your generous donations have done!

First:  We donated the Veteran Memorial to honor all VVS alumni.  We hope that all our class service women and men have submitted their information.  Follow this link to do so:

Second: We donated $500 to the Verona Fire Department!  What a wonderful gathering we had to start off our reunion weekend.  A huge thank you to Chris Collins, for all of his help and clean up!

Third: We had excess money from our class, that we decided to donate an award to graduating seniors who enlisted in the service or were attending a service academy.  These student(s) also showed good character and civic responsibility.

We were present at the award ceremony for the VVS Class of 2022 and were able to present $350 to Konrad Thurston, who has enlisted the US Air Force!  This same award will be presented over the next few years, on behalf of VVS Class of 1970.

We want to thank everyone again for making our 50th + 1, so memorable. Stay well friends!
