Since graduation I was married to Larry Markillie,but marriage ended in divorce. I then married Dan Fleming from Plainwell and have been happily married for 40 years. I have had 3 children in which my middle child Larry is deceased. I worked at Shakespeare Company, and Gibson Guitar until they closed and from those places I worked at Parker Hannifin Corporation retiring in 2006 after 30 1/2 years of service. My husband and I have enjoyed several vacations to Branson Mo., Florida, Las Vegas, and other places out west. And several cruises and our latest being a trip to Hawaii. My favorite being Las Vegas. I love all of the Glitz and Glamour of Sin City. We have been to Vegas 25 times. We enjoy our children,grandchildren and our beautiful little great granddaughter Adalyn Jo. We love camping which over the years have camped in tents to pop up trailers to travel trailers. Love the U.P. and we go to the antique car show and the big semi truck show that is in St. Ignace every year.

I'll never forget our senior trip to New York and Washington D.C. my roommates were Sarah Harding,Wanda Hattis and Judy Sisson and we were having a great time ending up apparently having a water fight and Judy was wearing blue pajamas and they weren't dry when she turned in for the night and the color faded all over her bed sheets. I believe that the highlight of my highschool years when I was able to perform in the high school follies and Jo Ann Britton and Sandy Graybeal and I sang Bicycle Built for Two (and there were three of us) But the best time is when I performed a solo and the Vicksburg Commercial had me down as the number one act of the follies. Singing "Happy Talk" That really boosted my ego. And I had it all to thank you for our vocal teacher Jerry Smith to thank for that. (Whom is now deceased) Also I give thanks to my wonderful parents that taught me right from wrong. And always never let me forget to treat each person with respect. Which I think I did during my highschool years. And still do today.
