Donald Kornegay served in Vietnam with the 1st Infantry (Big Red 1) as a RTO and received the Bronze Star for actions in combat. After the service he married and settled in Washington state and worked for the Telephone company. He has two sons and several grandkids. He died of luekemia in 2010
