Worked with Sherry and her mom at A & W on Valley Mills Drive starting the summer before my senior year.  Did not know her well until then.  She and her mom were great.  We had so much fun working together!  I remember Sherry and me leaving A & W one night in my '57 Chevy.  An unmarked police car started following us.  I had been followed home before late after work so I stepped on it.  Sherry said, "I think that is a policeman."  I pulled over and it was.  All my tears did no good and he gave us a ticket.  It was late and I was scared to go home and tell my dad I had gotten a ticket.  We went to Sherry's house and talked to her mom for a while.  I finally had to go home and was relieved to find that my dad was not mad at me, but was upset that an unmarked car had tried to get me to stop.  Sherry was a great friend and I wish I had kept in better contact with her.
