WADSWORTH -- Helen M. Gilbert, 91, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1996, at Magnolia Care and Rehabilitation Center, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Gilbert was born in Thompson, Pa., and resided in Wadsworth since 1936. She was a Latin and French teacher for Wadsworth City Schools, retiring in 1971 with 15 years service. She was a member of the Wadsworth United Methodist Church, Sorosis, F.P.A., Methodist Women, O.E.A., American Legion Post 170 Auxiliary, and past president of the Wadsworth Womens Club.

Mrs. Gilbert was the wife of the late Charles F., and is survived by daughter, Jane Ann of Wadsworth.

Funeral services Saturday, 1 p.m., at the Hilliard Cox Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
