James M. Birkbeck, 55, of Akron, Ohio passed away July 12, 2010.
He was born to James and the late Rosemary Birkbeck on March 22, 1955 in Wadsworth, Ohio. He was especially proud of his service to our country and retired from the United States Air Force as a Tech Sergeant.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. Jim is survived by his wife, Judi Birkbeck; father, James (Joyce) Birkbeck; sons, James (Joanna) Birkbeck and Brian Birkbeck; stepchildren, Richard and Nicole Davis; sisters, Cindy (Gino) DiPietro and Lori (Marty) Presnell; granddaughter, Lindsey; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Cremain burial will be held Monday, July 19, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery. A memorial will be held at First Grace U.C. of Christ in Akron, Ohio at a later date. Sorry about Jims passing. I will alway remember the good times, playing baseball in the field, walking the trolley line and riding around in his 57 chevy, growing up in the neighborhood.
