WADSWORTH -- Gary E. Fleming, 45, died Saturday, June 29, 1996 at Loma Linda Medical Center, after a six-month illness.

Mr. Fleming was born in Wadsworth and resided in California for the past 12 years. He was the first March of Dimes Poster Child, a former member of Wadsworth F.O.E. 2117, and an avid bowler.

Mr. Fleming is survived by wife, Kathy; stepchildren, Tim, Travis and Rebecca, all of California; sisters, Polly Henderson of Missouri, Edna Shaw and Lois Wheeler, both of Wadsworth; brothers, James of Lancaster, Pa., Rick and David, both of Wadsworth; grandmother, Mary Held of Wadsworth; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Mary and James Fleming and grandfather, William Held Sr.
