AKRON -- Jeffrey R. Davis, 45, of Akron passed away October 3, 2017. Jeff was born in Barberton, Ohio on May 31, 1972 to Richard and Jeannine (Wilson) Davis.

Jeff graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1990. He attended Akron Machine Institute after graduation. Jeff was a very kind, loving and gentle soul. He was known as "Gentleman Jeff".

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Jeannine Davis; sister; Kelly (Mark) Byers; nephews; Christopher and Jonathon; grandfather, James R. Davis of Butler Pa.; and grandmother, Pearl A. Wilson of Butler, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother , Maxine Davis; and grandfather, William Wilson.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. with Major Tom Grace officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn cemetery.
