A very funny and wonderful fellow. He's got all of heaven laughing as we speak I'm sure. Missed by many, he gave class to our class.

I remember that he played Mr. Depina in the play "YOu Can't Take it with YOu". I can still see him posing for one of the other characters who was a painter. He was wearing a toga and I think he had a bald cap on! Very good humor!

Remember his clever T-shirts with nonsensical sayings like "Boiling an Olive?" /Don't know why that has stayed with me.

The Litton's and the Sprungs had many siblings in similar age groups, so our entire families bacame close friends.

"Spunker" and I spent alot of time together between Swim team, Boy Scouts, wrestling, track, and gennerally hanging out in the hood... He came out to my Dad's lake cabin for our first fishing opener, and we couldn't even catch a weed, but we had a memorable weekend.

Speaking of school plays (he was wearing a bald cap in You Can't Take it With You), but do you remember the Count Dracula play they did in Junior High. Mike was the crazy Renfield character and he 'Dippity Doed' his hair all funky and went around catching bugs and eating them---Hillarious!!

I think of him often. His dear Mother passed away a short time before Mike. I was at her visitation, but poor Mike was too ill to attend, and I regret not being able to see him again. But Mike, in his typical way, sent me a note to thank me for coming which I still keep as a reminder of his impact in my life.

Mike was a good friend and extremely entertaining --funny --with his self-deprecating humor.  It was nice that he kept in touch, even when he was in the Navy, and then when he was out.  We had a nice visit when he and his wife came to visit me in Houston years ago.  He died much too young, leaving a grieving family.
