Wesley Brian Smith, 46, of Breckenridge, Minn., died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at rural Kent, Minn.

Breckenridge’s Wesley Brian Smith, 46, was killed when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a parked pickup truck on Minnesota County Road 22 between McCauleyville and Kent.

The accident happened shortly before 2 p.m.

Smith was driving eastbound on 22 when he struck the pickup, which was sitting on the shoulder. The pickup was owned by Lester Krump of Breckenridge, who wasn’t in the pickup at the time of the accident. Smith was dead at the scene.

The pickup, a 1990 Chevrolet, sustained heavy damage in the collision. The 2002 Harley Davidson Smith was riding was totaled.
