Cat Yoneyama Sides

Since 1989, I came to Southern California to attend Loyola Marymount University and graduated with a BFA in Communications with an emphasis in Filmmaking. I met my husband while working on film set and we got married in 1993. Started working in the Film Industry right away, first starting with Special Effects and then moving on to Children's TV Animation where I joined the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Emmys). Helped my husband start a business in 2004 and got to retire from the day job in 2005 after my son was born. I now help run the business and am an Independent Writer and Producer, and created a company, Rising Moon Entertainment, with my producing partner, Rebecca Kessel.

During Freshman year, me, Shelly, Malia, Grace, Kristine and Heidi decided to cut class and play Steal Base on the campus Tennis courts. Little did we realize that we were completely visible to the Campus Police who were standing up on the hill. We got busted and had to do detention in the cafeteria for a week. After that day we learned to not get caught. LOL!
