"Thank you to all of the die hard '89ers who came out to run the flying saucer booth at the Waimea High School Alumni Carnival. We were busy all night and the last booth to shut down after making what felt like thousands of flying saucers. Thanks to everyone for staying beyond their shifts to help out and to our spirited leaders Liko Pereira and Tony Magaoay who kept things lively and fun till the end. Thanks especially to Todd Nitta, Julie Ibara and Deacon Hanson for sacrificing a night during their short visit on Kauai to work with us." mahalo, Shelly

The shirts were designed by our very own classmate Ethel Santos and will be printed at her business Island Image Embroidery in Lihue. It looks great and I’m sure we’ll all look awesome with our new shirts when we’re working in the food booth at the Alumni Carnival on March 6th.
