WALLINGFORD - Lise' Jayne Salch, 45, of Wallingford, beloved wife of Gary Salch, departed this life with the love of her family, on Friday, July 6, 2007 after her courageous battle with cancer. 

Lise' opened her eyes to this world on August 30, 1961 in Meriden, CT. She was born a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Jayne (Clark) Doehr.

She was a loving wife, mother and sister and friend. She will be forever remembered by those who knew her as a very creative person who loved decorating, ceramics, and most of all her family. She was also a very compassionate person showing great love for animals and children in need. 

In addition to her husband, she will be sadly missed by her son, Gary Salch, Jr. and his partner Deanna Hale; three daughters, Shannon Salch and her partner, Jeffrey Vance, Cheyenne Salch and her partner JR Garcia, and Kendall Salch and her husband Jeremy Spellacy; Two brothers, Walter C. Doehr and his wife Harriet of Meriden, and Bryan Doehr of East Haddam. Two sisters, Kimberly Urban and her husband Richard of East Haddam, and Lucinda Whitehouse and her husband Randy of Durham; along with her sister-in-law Wendy Doehr. She also leaves a godson, Cody Urban; and twenty nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Doehr. 

Visitation will held on Tuesday, July 10th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A service in celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 11th in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at In Memoriam Cemetery. So many advances being made in Breast Cancer care and lets all pray for a cure for those suffering or who have lost a loved one!
