WALLINGFORD - Keith V. Nitchke, 40, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000.

Born in New Haven, June 18, 1960, he had served an enlistment in the U.S.

Navy. He was employed by Picco Development Inc., in Wallingford and was a member of the Yalesville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Castella Nitchke of Wallingford with whom he resided; his sister, Debra Nitchke of Rochdale, Mass.; two brothers, William Nitchke of Middlefield and John Nitchke of Meriden; his maternal grandmother, Josephine Castella of Palm Harbor, Fla.; a niece; and four nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Gene H. Nitchke.

Funeral services and interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to the Yalesville United Methodist Church Building Fund, 8 New Place St., Yalesville, CT 06492.
