In respect for Johanne and her family, I need to correct this misconception. Johanne was up at Castle Craig with some individuals. She was sitting on the wall. She had an injured ankle and while pulling off her boot, accidentally fell around 200 feet to her death. It was not reported immediately and was suspicious at 1st, but never considered a suicide. I believe this was in 1983 because I had visited her Mom and little sister after this happened and brought my 1st baby daughter. Her mom made a comment that Johanne would never have children. So sad, a life barely started, ended so soon.
