DANIEL WUNDERLICH (50) (DECEMBER 13, 1949- DECEMBER 15, 1999)
Danny attended St. Francis Borgia and Our Lady of Lourdes Grade School. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He served in the Army Reserves as a drill instructor from 1970-1976. He joined the Navy Chaplain Corp. in inactive reserves from 1984-1994. Danny received a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of MO and taught at Francis Howell High School. Next, he pursued a business career with IBM, Xerox, and Monsanto. He obtained a Master’s of Divinity in 1985 and in May 1987 he was ordained as a priest. He served in parishes at Santa Rosa, CA, Deerfield, Michigan, Jackson, MI, and Ovid, MI. He ended his career in DeWitt, Michigan as pastor of St. Jude Church since 1998. He lost his battle to cancer in December 1999, 2 days after his 50th birthday
