The memories are a bit hazy, but the bulk of them are of Mott "after hours". Hangin' out in Royal Oak, Birmingham, or the Lakeside Mall. Lots of weekend visits to State, Central or Western. Weekends and even weeknights in Detroit at our many haunts (St. Andrews/Shelter, City Club, Soup Kitchen, Mejestics, etc.)--where were our parents???? Tons of concerts at Pine Knob, but more importantly, the before and after parties in the parking lot. When that wasn't good enough, getting backstage was our goal--Depeche Mode was our most exciting achievement (remember that Ronda?) Again, where were our parents, and how did we afford such a lifestyle???
I remember the physics trip to Cedar Pointe, that was a blast. It rained the whole time! Somehow we managed to sneak alcohol on the bus and were able to have a really good time despite the rain!! Ronda Heatley, Kelly Hicke, Diane Blakeman and I playing truth or dare. We all ended up spilling the beans on what teachers we all had crushes on (alcohol=truth syrum). Believe it or not, we all were hot for different teachers!!! Mine was Mr. Cross, my heart was broken when he took a 2 week vacation and came back married!!!
Now that i'm reminiscing, the memories are flooding back. I could go on and on. It was a wonderful moment in time with so many great memories and lots of great people. I hope everyone is well and enjoying life.
