Catherine Luzar Rush

After Mott, I graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Psychology. I moved to NJ with my fiance and went on to get a B.S. in nursing and became a registered nurse specializing in ICU. Scott and I got married in 1995. Then, I got halfway thru grad school to become a nurse practitioner and my son was born and I quit. We lived in NJ for 8 years and moved to sunny Florida in 2002. Ever since moving to Florida I have been a stay at home mom to my 3 boys. They keep me running.

I'm looking at all the names on this website and I am surprised how little I remember about high school. Was it that bad that I blocked it all out? I think I had a lot of fun, so how come I can't remember anything??? Of course, I only attended Mott for a year and a half, so either that's the reason that I remember so few people, or maybe I'm just getting old and my mind is going !!!!!! Or maybe I had too much fun....
I do remember the Virginia beach band trip during senior year. That was fun. Cathy Zinn got soooo sunburned. Allison and Kara were finally nice to me. John Batty brought a black leather whip in his duffle bag. Hmmmmm, what was that for, John?
