Jerald Miller

Graduated from Olivet College, where I played football for 4 years, in '93
Hired in Kalamazoo in the fall of '93, been teaching 3rd or 4th grade since
Married Geanice in '94
Masters' Degree came in '97
Kegan, my son, blessed us in '98
My daughter Kearney was born in '03
Dabbled in some high school football coaching with college buddies
Coached my son's baseball team for the last 4 years-Last summer there were 3 teams:Little League, All-Stars, and then Travel
Weekends are spent driving the mini-van (yep!) around to travel soccer or baseball,swimming, cheerleading(yep!), baton & dance lessons

There are too many stories to try to recall. They just get better as I get older, and better at exaggeration. This time of year (October) reminds me of one night/morning out in Goddard's van. We (Goddard, Kee, Sloan, & myself) went around for hours gathering up hundreds (it seems) of those campaign signs. We then arranged them, ever so neatly, in the Svenkensons' front yard. I don't know which was more fun- the gathering or the arranging. Every time I pass a corner full of those signs I laugh.
