Boy, that would be a very long story...I'll give you the edited version. What have I been up to since 1989?
I went to undergrad at the UW Eau Claire. My major was in Psychology, so I knew eventually I would probably have to go to graduate school. Yes, I moved back in with my parents after undergrad and worked for awhile. Was unsuccessful to get my desired job after undergrad, so I decided to go to Graduate School. Just before I was getting ready to head off to Southern Illinois University. I met my husband to be, in a bar, in the Twin Cities.
However, it was time for me to leave for graduate, so we did the long distance thing for a few years while we were both in Graduate School. He was from Detroit. Yes, he is a Michigan State fan. Sorry die hard Wisconsin Badger fans!
After both graduating from shool. We did the marriage thing. Good old Wausau. My husband jokes that our kids are going to get married there because it was so cheap. Small town and all. Had a few different jobs after college, some I hated and some I loved. Now I work part time outside the home and full-time in our home as a full-time mom and wife.
All of a sudden, I ended up in North Carolina. We have lived here for the past 22 years and now have three children that are very entertaining. We love the weather here except for June, July and August. It is very hot and humid here. Believe it or not, I do miss the winters in Wisconsin very much. However, I have not been back for the entire durration of a winter in over 22 years. I look forward to seeing everyone and hope to have non-sticky cooler weather when I'm back visiting ya all in Wausau.
